The stadium was planned by the architects RKW Rhode Kellermann Wawrowsky Architektur + Städtebau using the traditional ship-construction-style of Danzig.
The main steel construction of the stadium – built in a consortium with ALPINE Bau Deutschland AG – is comprised of 82 elements, so called frames, each weighing approximately 66 tons. The total weight of the steel construction will reach 7.2 thousand tons.
ALPINE was looking for an option to map processes from ordering and invoicing that meet their specific requirements. They wanted to implement a system in which all orders, invoices and also payments could be documented transparently and well organised. Withinin a very short period of time it was possible to map the required processes just the way ALPINE needed them within the online project collaboration platform think project!.
The processes linked to ALPINE’s ordering and invoicing processes in the meantime extend across many different construction sites in Poland and several other countries. think project! can be used from anywhere and at any time to display the current value of all orders. Additionally, reports can be generated that can be analysed by various criteria – e.g. by supplier or material type.
