St. Petersburg airport, which handled around 5.1 million passengers in 2006, is being expanded and will gain importance as a Russian aviation hub, which the airport city will also benefit from.

St. Petersburg Airport City is conceived as a business park, which when completed will comprise several office buildings as well as a hotel. The site measures 62,300 square metres. In the initial construction phase, a four-star Crowne Plaza hotel with 300 rooms, and three office buildings with an area of around 40,000 square metres will be built, with an investment volume of approximately 120 million euros.

In the subsequent phase, further office buildings with around 50,000 to 60,000 square metres are planned. The total investment volume for this is around 390 million euros. The project location directly at the international airport of the city with 5 million inhabitants and on the main connection road to the capital, Moscow, is ideal.

The client PORR configured the project in think project! itself in accordance with its requirements. Processes such as document and design management including digital plan approval are used. think project! is available to users for project correspondence in German, English and Russian.
