Lascom AEC will soon sail under think project! brand

think project! entered the French market in 2015 by acquiring a majority stake of Lascom AEC. Lascom AEC has a strong customer base and growth position in France, delivering its PLM and CEC solutions to engineering companies, private and public asset owners, as well as construction companies. Its customers with major projects in France and abroad include Vinci, Alstom, Eiffage, Technip, Setec and RATP.

“France as the second-largest economy in Europe with leading companies in construction and a significant number of private asset owners is an important market for our international expansion. With the renaming to think project! France, Lascom AEC becomes part of our international brand. Our focus is to ensure that our product portfolio covers all customer needs – not only for PLM but also for cross-enterprise collaboration,” says Thomas Bachmaier, CEO of think project!.

“With the renaming we will be more obvious part of a strong organisation with a large international presence and a clear focus on AEC (architecture, engineering, construction) businesses. We benefit from the experience and structures of the international project business of think project! as well as from synergies in technology especially in the SaaS business and with BIM. Our goal is to join forces to become a strong partner for digital transformation for our customers in France and internationally,” explains Sabine Noisette, Managing Director, Lascom AEC.
