Optimised project management for new BMW branch

Significant increases in sales revenues for BMW and MINI vehicles in The Netherlands over recent years called for regional expansion of sales and after-sales capacity.

Because its current operations can’t meet increased demand, BMW is investing in a new Amsterdam showroom for new and used BMW and MINI vehicles including a workshop and parking. The entire complex comprises 23,000 m².

think project! optimises project management

The data volumes involved in a project of this size can no longer be easily processed via a standard communication system, so BMW AG decided to use the online project collaboration platform think project!. Data is now always up-to-date and can be accessed at any time and from any location by all the project participants (architects, engineers, contractors) a well as BMW project managers.

Design documents, meeting minutes and contract-relevant correspondence are managed, distributed and documented via the platform, along with design approvals and tendering of construction services.
