At Schillerplatz 4 in the heart of Vienna, project developer SEESTE Bau AG is building exclusive luxury apartments with a unique flair.
A particular challenge of this project is the renovation of an existing heritage-listed building, where the original character and unique feel need to be retained. At the same time, the high standards and individual ideas of prospective apartment owners must be taken into consideration in the building redesign.
An excellent location and elegant architecture make the building at Schillerplatz 4 unique and highly desirable. The splendid facade of the former Hotel Britannia is an impressive example of typical Viennese architecture. Designed in 1870 by renowned Viennese architect Carl Tietz, the building still exudes the sedate elegance of the fin de siècle style for which the Austrian capital is famous.
On the first and fourth floors of the historical building, 17 ‘Viennese Classic’ apartments are being built, some on the piano nobile with balconies and a wonderful view of the picturesque green of the Schillerpark. The roof superstructure, comprising up to three stories, offers room for a further 11 stylish premium apartments.
The particular challenges of the project are that regulations for listed buildings must be observed, and individual changes requested by individual apartment purchasers need to be taken into consideration.
Seeste decided for think project!
To help manage this project, developer SEESTE Bau decided to use the online project collaboration platform think project! for the first time. The platform is not only used to manage plans and documents; SEESTE is also using think project! to support the sales process for the apartments.
