Consolidating tasks centrally

By 2013, the Bosch Group will have invested around 100 million euros in the expansion of its Russian operations.

Two interconnected office buildings – six and eleven stories high – plus a hall for storage and repair shops will be built in a commercial district in the Shermetyevo Airport region, located on the outskirts of Moscow.

With a total floor space of 57,000 square metres, the new buildings should be ready for occupancy by around 700 Bosch employees in mid-2013. Accomodation for a futher 700 workstations will be available for external tenants.

This large Moscow project will consolidate Bosch‘s sales, customer service and training activities for automotive technology, industrial technology, consumer goods and building technology – currently dispersed over four sites.

Through this development, the company expects to deliver more efficient support for its customers and, at the same time, while reducing its costs. In 2011, the Bosch Group achieved sales of almost a billion euros in the russian market and currently employs around 2,700 people locally.
