In the keynote, Thinkproject CMO, Peter Ruchatz reflected on the industry’s digital evolution – from early project tools to connected data ecosystems that had reshaped delivery and performance. A new paradigm emerged: AI as a transformative force across the asset lifecycle. Attendees discovered how Thinkproject accelerated this shift with innovative AI-driven solutions, services, and new product offerings that expanded its platform to become the AI platform for the built environment.

Max Fritze, Director Product Marketing at Thinkproject, unveiled the next evolution of the Thinkproject platform, designed to help customers activate AI at every stage of the built asset lifecycle. Attendees discovered how new application updates, platform-wide data and AI capabilities, and intelligent agents came together in a unified architecture. They saw how each building block compounded in impact through real-world demonstrations of AI use cases that unlocked the next level of productivity, automation, and insight.

Jan Rathsmann explained how collaboration and digital intelligence were the new foundations of infrastructure delivery. By connecting project, asset, and environmental data through one platform, organisations achieved measurable gains in productivity, sustainability, and compliance.

Within this session, Max Fritze shared how AI Search helped build the data foundation of an asset during its planning and construction phases. Attendees explored how AI-based search changed the way collaboration and decision-making took place, as automated workflows supported teamwork and audit-proof documentation emerged along the way within a state-of-the-art, secure environment.

Attendees gained high-level insights and practical takeaways as they heard from contracts expert Liam Neill, who had once managed the complexities of nuclear submarine support infrastructure in the UK and was now shaping major infrastructure projects in Australia.

James Lawrence built on Capex to show how the Thinkproject AI Platform turned complexity into actionable intelligence across the Opex phase. Operations demanded uptime, compliance, and efficiency. With Thinkproject, asset data from handover was already structured in a single source of truth. AI Search made that data accessible in seconds, while AI Agents connected assets, documents, and contracts to surface risks and automated responses.
From inspections to maintenance, teams acted with speed and certainty. The result was resilient operations, trusted compliance, and lower lifecycle cost.

In this high-level panel, industry experts and technology leaders revealed how digital platforms and connected workflows were revolutionising collaboration across the entire asset lifecycle. From design to construction and operation, seamless data exchange, open standards, and trusted information proved to be the keys to breaking down silos and enabling smarter, more resilient decisions.
Attendees gained practical insights, strategies, and success stories that showcased the true potential of data-driven collaboration.
The panel featured Liam Neill (Mott MacDonald), Matti Seikkula (Accenture), James Lawrence (Thinkproject), and Max Fritze (Thinkproject), and was moderated by Simone Gould (Thinkproject).
