Thinkproject introduces Next Generation Platform with AI-powered capabilities across the Asset Lifecycle
Combines applications, data and AI in one shared operating platform
Enables organisations to manage projects, contracts, assets and portfolios in one system
Embeds AI and agentic AI capabilities to improve productivity and decision-making
[Munich, 14 April 2026] – Thinkproject today introduced the next generation of its platform, delivering AI-powered capabilities that connect applications, data and workflows across the entire asset lifecycle, from planning and delivery through to handover and operations.
The Platform 2026 release combines a comprehensive suite of applications with a unified asset data layer and embedded AI, enabling organisations to work across projects, assets and portfolios within a single environment. The platform is designed to reduce fragmentation, improve productivity and support more proactive decision-making.
At a time when organisations are under increasing pressure to deliver more with less, the challenge is no longer access to data, but turning it into actionable insight. Across complex asset lifecycles, teams must navigate large volumes of information and make decisions quickly, often without a clear view of priorities. This shift from data access to deeply informed decision-making is what the Thinkproject platform is designed to address.
AI Powered Platform
AI capabilities are deeply embedded within Thinkproject’s platform and applications, enabling users to categorise information instantly, ask questions in context and reduce time spent navigating complex systems.
By operating across connected data and workflows, AI supports both faster decision-making at an individual level and automation across teams and functions. Agentic capabilities enable the automation of multi-step workflows, helping organisations reduce manual effort and execute work more efficiently across projects, contracts and portfolios of assets.
“Organisations today are not lacking data, they are struggling to aggregate and act meaningfully on it,” said Olivier Colinet, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Thinkproject. “By bringing applications, data and AI together in one platform, we enable teams to access the right information instantly, automate, visualise for instant insights. Users can manage both individual projects and entire portfolios of assets with greater efficiency and control.”
A connected platform across the asset lifecycle
Thinkproject combines a comprehensive suite of applications across design, delivery, handover and operations with a unified asset data layer and an open asset data hub, enabling organisations to operate seamlessly across projects, contracts, assets and portfolios within a single and open environment.
At the core of the platform is a unified asset data layer that connects information across lifecycle phases, projects , contracts and assets. This ensures all users work with consistent, connected data, reducing fragmentation and improving secure coordination across teams and organisations.
The platform acts as a shared operating platform for building and operating assets, aligning users, workflows and enriching data across the lifecycle and enabling a more connected and scalable operating model.
This includes integration with external systems, allowing data to flow seamlessly across the wider technology ecosystem rather than remaining locked within individual tools.
Improving productivity at scale
The platform is designed to improve productivity at both an individual and organisational level.
Users can access information instantly through AI-powered queries, move seamlessly between applications and avoid duplication in onboarding, user management and data handling. For example, a 3D model can be made available directly within the platform for visualisation and navigation, without the need to move between systems or reprocess data. At the same time, automation across workflows enables teams to execute tasks more efficiently and scale operations across projects and portfolios.
Together, this enables organisations to move from managing individual tasks to delivering work more efficiently across teams and functions.
Enabling visibility and proactive risk management
By connecting data across lifecycle phases, the platform provides improved visibility across projects and assets.
This enables organisations to identify risks earlier, detect patterns across projects and portfolios, and move from reactive issue management to more proactive, data-driven decision-making. By drawing on insights from historical data, and continuously strengthening those insights as more data becomes available, teams can anticipate issues and respond more effectively.
From projects to portfolios
With connected data across the lifecycle, organisations can move beyond managing individual projects in isolation and instead manage entire portfolios of assets and projects with greater visibility, control and coordination.
This shift enables a more strategic approach to asset management, where decisions are informed by connected data and insights across projects, contracts, assets and lifecycle phases.
Availability
The Platform 2026 release will be available to customers from 15 April 2026, with internal access provided ahead of launch.
